And the best GUI of all the DAWS in your opinion is... ?

I can't say I was that impressed of the FL Studio GUI - because it was hard to focus using it. It looks kind of cool but I can't say how much more powerful Reason is in that matter. I haven't tested all the DAWS like some others have, but propably if you have always used some certain app, you've got used to it. But for a beginner, I would think they would like the GUI making sense as much as possible. So - what is the best GUI in your opinion?

Cubase. By far. It is clear, well laid, you find the things were you expect them too, and the colours are easy on the eye too. If i was on Mac, i'd probably say Logic, because that one also looks very clear, clean, and easy to me.
Pro Tools looks pretty good too BTW.

Hmmmm...tough one. So many great choices. In no particular order, my top three choices would probably include:
Pro Tools
Sonar
Logic
Pro Tools
Sonar
Logic
Logic Pro | LUNA Pro | OB-X8 | Prophet 6 | OB-6 | Rev2 | TEO-5 | Pro 3 | SE-1X | Minitaur | Deepmind 12D | Integra-7 | TR-1000 | Analog RYTM mk2 | Digitakt 2 | TD-3 MO | TD-3 | Maschine+

Sonar looks nice, but the GUI is pretty cluttered IMO... same like Reason, kind of. Reason really looked nice and easy once, but now that hey implemented all that functionality... at least i don't find it very easy to operate.

Good looking? Logic and Studio One.
Functional? Ableton Live, if you don't use third party plug ins you can avoid opening/closing windows and becomes way less cluttered. of course live isn't the best for mixing and audio editing but for its main intended purpose the GUI is superb.
Worst? Reaper because it lack any core principle guiding it. Then Reason because it is so outdated for today more common resolutions.

Sonar. Like others, I'm bias being that I use it the most but I love how customizable it is and clean. Plus now that we can reskin it, I can make it look however I want. Most important to me is undocking though. For multi-monitor use, it's incredible.

Logic 8/9, followed by Bitwig and light skin version of MuLab 6/7.
This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?
