Hi , i installed manalyser to use with reaper , but somehow the loudness meters are diffrent from what reaper shows me , i tried to make sense of it but couldn´t lol ^^.. can anyone tell me how these values correlate with reapers volume levels .. what is 0 dB in melda in reaper and what is 0dB in reaper in melda plugins ?
thanx in advance !

Are you getting 'loudness' metering (as in LUFS based measurement, in the melda loudness meter) mixed up with peak metering (as in dBFS, in the reaper meters)?
If none of the above makes sense to you, then read through this article to understand the difference and what the purposes of the different measuring standards are: http://www.soundonsound.com/techniques/end-loudness-war

This is not uncommon, different measuring plugins will show different values but really it's a small difference..
It depends on the hearing treshold calculated against, correct me if i am wrong Vojtech
At least from Physics/Mathmatical stand point of view that's the only thing that comes to my mind, might be different in this case i am not a DSP guy
