Hi all. I have T5 and it has this whooshing sound when I record. Anyone else have this happen? Thanks.

Do you get this all the time? If your version of Tracktion isn't registered (and even though T5 is free, I think you still have to go through the motions to register), as there is "a" whooshing sound every 30 seconds.
If it is registered:
1. Do you ONLY hear it while recording?
2. Is it on all recorded audio tracks? (You can check by either muting or soloing tracks during playback).
3. If you have ONLY MIDI tracks, do you still hear it?

I don't hear when I record vocals just an instrument. I bought the t5. Thanks.

If the instrument is not registered it will cause this problem to.

If it is a Tracktion plugin, say the synth plugins you must register them even the master mix plugin, you due it on the Gui. You have to put in your email and password on the plugin.

If not, what do you mean by "record an instrument"? This is pretty vague.
1. Is this a "line in" scenario where the instrument is either a guitar or synthesizer?
2. Is this an accoustic instrument (i.e. violin, oboe, acoustic drums or guitar)
3. Is this a MIDI coming from a keyboard, and being played by a .vst ?
Also, is the whooshing only heard when the instrument is actually playing, or is it also heard during the silence? It's possible you have some sort of feedback loop, which may not actually go out of control, but only appear as an unexpected digital delay, echo, etc. Try recording with speakers turned down, or using headphones, if using a microphone.

I was able to figure it out. Thank you, Peter, and everyone else that helped. It was when I plugged in my guitar.
