Hello from Germany,
has anyone managed to use T as a looping device?

I.e. i play a part recording it in T (Midi or Audio), the moment i stop the recording, T goes into looping mode allowing me to change Rec Channel and record an overdub while the Music plays on.

Is this possible at all?

Let me see If I understand what you mean. You want to start a recording an never stop this recording while changing your midi or mic input an while the DAW is still recording.

I know this might sound the same as what you saying, but I am making sure when you saying "stop the recording" you are not meaning you are stopping the DAW from recording and the song still playing if this so, Yes this can be done, an this is how.

Put all your inputs on all there tracks where you want to record. Arm the ones you will start the recording with, now when you ready to arm the other tracks while the recording going just press the arm button on those inputs. But I suggest not to disarm any inputs while recording in loop mode because it tend to sometimes make a short stop, delay, glitch or pop that will sometimes be in the recording.

What i would like to do is choose the length of my loop while recording.
The scenario you describe starts with setting a fixed looping length bevore starting, right?

I would rather have the freedom like i have with a classic looping pedal.
I know i could use a Boss RC or similar but dealing with VST and digitized sounds would be easier to solve that thing inside my DAW.

You can always move the loop marker back while recording
