FR: Mxxx white noise level

...say V!, would it be possible to lower the gain on the "pink/white" noise burststhat occur when a given plugin is in "trial" mode?...several times now I've had to "rest" my hearing before going back to work...and much longer "gaps" would also help when trying to evaluate a new plugin, the plugin would still be "useless" for actual production work, so no worries there...hth...Cheers!.../s~

...thanx for looking...in the past that was "quiet" true...but for the contest "testing" I was thinking about trying MSpectralDynamics to solve a problem...and "ouch!"...the usual "gain" suspects were all under control.../s~

Btw. isn't it caused by some other plugin? E.g. if you use a compressor after the plugin that emits noise, it's quite possible it will effectively amplify it.

...actually Msd was the only plug in the in use...I instantiate Mxxx when "trying out" plugins I haven't yet acquired...I've removed Mxxx from the project for now since I am under a time constraint from the rest of my life for the moment...I will see what I can do to recreate/isolate the conditions.../s~

Steve, I decided not to lower the noise level, it is at -40dB, so it is hard to even notice it. I'm pretty sure, some following section amplified it, which means lowering the original level wouldn't really help anyway.

...got it...and to be complete, because the event kept occurring in that project session, and I knew my "high end" was shot for the day, I shut the whole thing down, sent you the note, and quite frankly forgot about it...until now...I had opened an instance of MSpectralDynamics in MxxxCore on an acoustic guitar track going straight to the 2buse, so there nothing before or after...and the problem has not recurred
...(sigh)...and as always, thankyou for your attention to detail
