This Black Friday's free offerings seem to be very high quality, first Cobalt and now Construct!

Very nice and well behaving drum machine. It has it's own sound!
Thanks, Psychic Modulation!

That whole Black Friday crap is getting out of hand. Makes me wonder why I paid 40 bucks for Construct, thanks for the slap in my face, PM

While sales and giveaways are nice, the problem is, they can easily make customers who've paid full price feel cheated.
If software companies intend to give away paid products for free, they should have a separate VIP/freebie-section for existing customers or something else. Loyalty/Reward-programs have a bit of a rep for being messy and complicated, but they don't necessarily have to be. I think Rhythmic Robot does this well and some developers give you the option to choose some freebies on the way to checkout.
Some developers like U-He feel so strongly about this, that they don't even do sales. The Diva-sale is one-off and they took existing customers into account (literally) and depending on the number of products they own, gave them their newest product for free or something else.

I am not angry, I just don't think it's ok, and I have a good memory in terms of future purchases
Construct is not even an old plugin unlike the one Tone2 decided to turn into freeware.

Very nice freebie. I was kinda hoping Phonec would go on sale. Price is pretty reasonable as is though. Any thoughts on it?
