All good ideas. I have already been planning to implement the first two at some point. I think some sort of preset browser/manager would be nice. Perhaps something where you can also select the scale. I'm still waiting for more people to send me preset clips though :) At the bottom of the main sequencer (under the last row of clips) I was planning to put a scroll bar and some fwd/back arrows. Just haven't got around to it. And a lasso to select multiple clips and notes.

I can probably work something like #6 into the new sequencer, although it is probably going to be monophonic. It will DEFINITELY have Manipulators available for randomization, including the new melodic one. The graphics for the sequencer are almost done:

BTW, special thanks to Voger Design for donating the black background texture that I used.
The new sequencer will allow the user to create skins, which should be fun. I'll try to make a couple designs myself. I have no idea what the screen at the bottom with the soft buttons is for, but it should allow for future improvements and randomization stuff. Hopefully I will have something functional in a month or two (I just tinker about 10-20 mins per day on the thing). A new, integrated, drum sequencer will follow that.

After being quite busy with family, work, and life in general, I finally managed to put out a prototype of the internal step sequencer. It isn't finished, but the knobs and sliders all work as they should. It features large controls, so it should work well with touchscreens too.
An internal drum sequencer will follow at some point.

I posted another small update to the program. Version 1.0d adds Midi Sync (slave) and Midi Learn / Control for the Step Sequencer controls. If you have a control surface, you can use it to move the sliders, knobs, and mute buttons on the sequencer. I added the Sync so that I can trigger Reason VST's (via loopMIDI) and record the audio right into Reason (or any other DAW). Fun!
