The manual I have (PLEASE link me to a more recent if one exists) says to right click the data display before beginning to assign CC. Well, that leads to gui size options and the menu which leads to U-he help options. So, no go there. Has there been another way in an update? Because all I get is "lock" when I right click the knobs.

Hello,

I made an update to Diva Rev 4078 recently. I have got the same problem. When I right click on the parameter I only get the "lock" option. As far as I remember in the previous Diva Rev I just chosed the midi learn option and then tweak the knob on my controler to assing in. ( I use Korg MS2000 as my midi controler for Diva). I do not know what you mean by clicking "control & one" on midi controler. Could you please explain it better for me.

Your help is much appreciated in advance.

Kind regards

Pedro

Hi, I'm sorry I'm so dumb but I still have no idea how to assign learn. I tried pressing the L gear icon, selecting what I want to control. Then I go to the R gear icon and there's nothing there.

I want to use my DAW's controller, not a midi keyboard.

I must say, this feature of DIva's is one of the most counter-intuitive among their synths. How hard is it simply to right click the knob and voila, "learn midi" like pretty much any other synth? This way isn't groundbreaking, it's simply confusing, and underexplained in the manual.

Never mind my tone please I'm just getting really aggravated.

@Apostate: Underexplained? The information may be very compact, but in the manual it is FULLY explained on pages 36 and 37, including a practical example. No need to get aggravated, all you have to do is read the appropriate part of the correct manual.

It will allow me to assign functions to my sustain wheel but if I try to do the same with my controller knobs it won't recognize the command.. alesis vi49
