FR - Option to flatten edit clips

If the "Source Edit" is a long song, each of my edit clips creates a pretty large wave file on my hard drive.
So when you use a lot of edit clips in your edit it starts to add up...

Maybe it would be nice if there was an option to automatically "flatten" edit clips to the selected marker (found at: Clip Loop points -> Markers List)?
