I have random audio dropouts but they are much worse when resizing GUI. I tried rollback 10.04 and 10.05 I have the same problem. When uninstalling Melda the dropouts seemed to stop but after further testing with a bunch of synths (no MPowersynth) I still get dropouts. It can be another plugin possibly conflicting I got myself a lot of new stuff during last month. I tried recording a video but the problem during the recording is much worse and it does not show correctly what is happening.

I post here cause the problem is worst with resizing GUI so is there anything beside complete reinstall you guys can suggest ?

I tried removing and deinstalling plugins completely and adding one company at a time. Reaper worked perfectly fine when no plugins loaded but the problem always comes around when I hit above 25% cpu load.
Might be time to go back to Win7 it was more stable for me.

Hmmm, odd, the main thread shouldn't really interfere with other threads. I'd suggest checking your GPU drivers and OS, maybe there's something rotten somewhere. In our plugins you can try disabling GPU acceleration in Settings, if that would help that would certainly point out to a GPU problem. But mainly try messing with your host, like priorities and stuff. Resizing definitely shouldn't cause you any problems.

I found the problem, the check box in Reaper-preferences-audio-buffering : Allow live FX multiprocessing must be turned on. I was running on 1 core for live input. Don't know how that box got unchecked.
