Strange Behavior Rendering

I have T6, last version issued (6.3.1).

Dedicated DAW Desktop not connected to Internet

Odd behavior when rendering a song ("edit") to mp3 or .wav file.

The keystrokes Export\Render to File\ gives us the Render Dialog Box.

Under File Name the name of the edit populates that field by default, eg "D:\ Tracktion Recordings\ Song Number 12 Edit 1"

I want to create the mp3 or wav file in another folder, eg,
"C:\001Outgoing to Collaborators"

Problem: Regardless of whether I use the blue button in the Render dialog box to open the navigation pane to navigate to the "C:\001Outgoing to Collaborators" folder, or whether I type in "C:\001Outgoing to Collaborators" in the File Name field in the Render Box it stubbornly reverts to "D:\ Tracktion Recordings\ Song Number 12 Edit 1"

Why can I not choose where I want the rendered file created and why cannot I name it what I want to name it?

I rebooted and reinstalled T6 -- no change.

I have this version of T6 installed on a laptop and it properly performs as expected.
