I noticed this "Enable Automation" option greyed on the dropdown menu, what is it?

This item is enabled only for output parameters that you can record as automation curves (for example the levels of the DP Meter Pro Plug-in). I guess it could actually be removed entirely for other parameters instead of being greyed out!
