Using T6 and T7 Win 7 32bit

This morning I opened Tracktion and it reinstalled itself! All settings gone. All plugs unscanned...Had to painstakingly rebuild my custom plug in tree etc.

Went to T7...exactly same thing happened, except the plugs in list were now there (because I rebuilt it in T6 and T7 shares the list)

HOW did this happen?

I do not have any viruses...I did not to anything radical to my setup recently. I have not installed any plugins or for that matter any other software for months.

It was just GONE this morning.

Once again I beseech you...HOW did this happen? WHY did this happen. Did I run into an easter egg?

I suppose I am the only one in the world with such luck?

Signed,

Shocked

Unless you actually saw it re-installing itself it sounds more like it lost the settings files. I believe they're store in...

C:\Users\<NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Tracktion

or something similar. You might want to explore those folders. Did anything user-login-related change?
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Well, I had to reinstall and re-register. I didn't actually it uninstall it (that was 'automated'), but your suggestion sounds most plausible...as we like to say 'it's there but you can't see it'

I found the files in the path you gave (thanks!) but they have a timestamp of today, so I suppose those are the new setting a had to re-enter today.

Such an error was unexpected from Tracktion, but if it's a file problem I guess it happens.

Thanks for you suggestion.
