Repro-1 patch jumped out of tune

I was adding a track/jamming using Repro-1 stock patch 'EH Butter Smooth Pulse Lead' for a few minutes, was about to press record, when it suddenly dropped out of tune by a bit less than 20 cents (using Korg guitar tuner). Using only OSC1 with --INIT-- patch, removing PW, showed the same.

Bringing up ACE on another track, with a OSC1 in a most simple way shows no pitch variation. This is in Bitwig 2.0, no FX on the tracks.

Taking another reading from Repro-1, still the same. Saving project, restarting Bitwig, immediately checking Repro-1 after retsart (same sound) shows no pitch variation at all. All OK.

Strange question but, is this a feature of some sort ?

System: Linux Mint 17, 64 bits. Repro-1 5332, ACE 4408.

Thanks.

Any chance the pitch wheel got moved accidentally, or it moved on its own? I'm just guessing.

That most likely was caused by a pitch automation setting within the specific daw track.
Not anything related to the synth.
If it happens again, first thing to do would be to check the tracks pitch automation features.

Novation Launchkey MINI - no pitch wheel.

Master Tune on Repro-1 remained at center (I never play in other tunings than A 440Hz)

You mean, Bitwig 2.0 could insert pitch modulation in a track without the only user being aware of it ? Is this called Bollywood or PsyTrance operational mode ? And this mode would be toggle off by a restart of Bitwig ? :o

I don't know bitwig's capabilities, yet I would hope it can modulate pitch, as most hosts can.
If it can't then scratch that.
Yet you should have tried it in another host first, as the first step in any troubleshooting progress.

It was unclear as to whether you were using a saved project, or a clean track.
I assumed it was a project.

In another instance of pitch changing instances, my source of a pitch altering nightmare that only happened in Zebra2 for some days was troubleshooted throughout, with no solution. Only to finally find out that it was the midi keyboard controller gone bad, that caused it.

Yes, Bitwig can modulate pitch. Thanks for pointing out things to look for. I was surprised when it suddenly happened as I was playing and just about to record the track, and did not investigate throughly I'm afraid.
