Improvements for an amazing drum synth and other nice ideas

Check Redrum KSH active preset in MXXX

That is a very good idea to make realtime drum synth if you have a mic input.
Just make some noise with your hand or a drumstick on your table, go through in this preset realtime, and miracle happen. (try several type of samples not just drums - choir, noises, accords, pads, etc.)

The DrumEnhance works very well because it is follow the input amplitude, and transform it to LIKE a sample. But just 1 things missing for me. Playing a REAL sample too parallell with resynthesys. So my idea is when an input coming a sample start with ADSR and maybe some useful other parameters (layering by velocity, round robin, etc)
And here we are this is a komplete redrummer effect or a very good rhythm toy.

There are some option what I think to achieve this (and maybe other interesting posibilities)

- A new sample player modul.
- New Osc type (or option) as sampler in MpowerSynth
- Connect with MDrummer

Maybe another idea to start a sampler to outside, is a built in MIDI option for a filtered Audio follower which can generate MIDI notes with velocity outside.

But for resampling that's not planned I'm afraid. It would be FAR more complex than you imagine from what I read here. Hopefully something like that would be possible in MYYY, but there's a long way towards that .

Exciting to hear this. Are you planning to make a sample player to mxxx or MPowersynth, or triggering a MIDI note by audio signal?

Nothing like that sorry. It will have to wait for MYYY (it's in stage of planning, something like MXXX, but a synth/sampler/...).
