Hello,
I'm new to Tracktion, testing Tracktion 7 at the moment. I must say I'm impressed by its general approach, as well as enormous possibilities.
I'd like to ask you a question (maybe it's quite obvious for some more experienced user than me):
I can see that assigning VST/host parameters to MIDI controller is pretty easy.
However, is there any way to assign selected VST parameters to CC controllers (and vice versa)?
This problem may seem rather bizarre, but actually it's an essential question to effectively work for example with buch of excellent http://www.thepiz.org/plugins/ plugins.
I'll be really grateful for clarifying this question.
MIDI CC <-> VST parameter associating - is it possible?

Any ideas?
A simple operation: assignment CC# <-> VST/DAW parameter. Without moving knobs on MIDI controller (which AFAIK itself generates nothing more than standard MIDI messages). Per track or per whole edit, whatever.

I'm not sure I fully understand the question? If you use the MIDI learn feature you can assign MIDI CC messages to plugin parameters?

Well, as far as I discovered, in "MIDI learn" mode Tracktion expects me to move some knob. I assume that the connections are made automatically, in a way invisible to user (maybe I've overlooked something - as I said, I'm pretty new to Tracktion). Unfortunately I haven't got a MIDI controller with knobs in order to check. What I'd like to do is to set such assignment that some parameter of VST plugin "X" reacts to CC #Y, that can be emitted by some MIDI plugin "Z", such as this one: http://thepiz.org/plugins/?p=AudioToCC
