Any chance of adding NKS support to MPowerSynth? NI provides really nice API and provides marketing support for products that support NKS standard. It may boost your sales

Sorry if I am now the hate boy here, but: isn't this more some kind of marketing thing of NI?
Offtopic:
I really liked NI some years ago, but today I just dislike them. Once they told me that they charge 5000€ for making a Kontakt library Kontakt Player usable, I totally lost my faith in NI (5k for what? Pressing on a button to unlock a library for KPlayer? Ridiculous . . .). Moreover: when was the last updates of their big tools like Kontakt, Reaktor or Absynth etc.?
... it feels like they don't make updates anymore. But maybe I am missing something? And somehow their tools feel slow on my machine. Other tools (Meldaproduction, WIVI, FL Studio plugins) just load faster (in contrast to an empty Kontakt instance for example ... sorry, not my thing anymore and somehow I am even sad, since I really liked them!

Well, I wrote them. Never heard of this actually, so I'm especially surprised how many companies were on the list there
.
As for offtopic and Kontakt, I hate it too to be honest, the workflow is horrible, loads forever, crashes etc... But I like they sort of "have everything". I think it's probably like ProTools - everyone knows it sucks, but they use it anyway, since they bought the market. But to be fair, I quite like some of the stuff in Komplete (unlike ProTools
), I'd trash most of it, and I felt sort of "misleaded" when I found out it's "Komplete Ultimate", but it's still like a small part of the NI collection only
. Anyways there's some basic version of everything, and sometimes it sounds really good, so we just have to keep living in a nonperfect world and enjoy that positives
.

Any news or at least plans regarding MPowerSynth and NKS integration?

It's not difficult to map any plugin to Komplete Kontrol hardware, you could do it yourself, I have done this for tons of plugins that are not officially NKS. So controlling it using the keyboard is not the real challenge, the problem is importing presets. KK does not provide the tools for doing this so in practice it needs to rely either on doing it 1 by 1 which is just not practical for a plugin with thousands, or scripting/automation of some kind.
Of course since MPower manages presets itself anyway I'd be happy just to have it controllable via the hardware myself.

OK just whipped up a basic template for MPowersynth - drop it into the user folder
I had to make some compromises as it doesn't map well to the 8 knob layout, some things needed to be split across several pages of controls and that gets in the way during performance so I reduced the param set to something more manageable for me - but if you don't like my choices then change it

Made a bunch of thumbnail KK templates including one for MPower

So apart from presets it has everything that an official NKS plugin has now - personally I'm happy to let MPowersynth handle its own presets but if people prefer to have those as well I don't have the skills as it would need someone who can automate this (maybe Melda can do that part?)
