Hello, I have question to the users that already downloaded Waveform (I'm seeing 404 errors right now in the main page) and are testing it:
Does it allow to drag'n'drop sounds and MIDI from its browsers and tracks straight to outside Waveform, like into the Desktop or File Explorer (or another Audio Editor)?

Yup, I was wondering the same thing! It would be cool if the drag n drop function extended to the external clipboard too!pottering wrote:Hello, I have question to the users that already downloaded Waveform (I'm seeing 404 errors right now in the main page) and are testing it:

As far as I can tell from a quick test in Windows 10, you can't drag and drop from within Waveform (either from the timeline nor the browser) to your file manager. (Of course you can do it the other way around: dragging stuff into Waveform from the outside world).
That would be a cool quick export feature for moving stuff quickly into something like Live.

I have a tip! but it's not for moving outside of Waveform. You can open two edits at the same time and copy and paste or move any thing in the edits (plugins,clips,automations,ext....) this is a great tool from getting a copy of something you like from one edit to the next without presets.
