Playing synths or vsti in unison or a rack

Is there anyway I can play to vsti at the same time or in unison. Hope I'm explaining it right. Basically layering synths n mulab instruments?

Yeah, sure you can, what I normally do is load a mux, and inside the mux you can load any VSTs you want.

Yes, make sure that the audio output (red cables) of every synth instance is connected to the audio output, and that every synth instance will receive the events from the events input (blue cables)

There is another way:
In the first rack in the first slot add a Send to the second rack.
Put your 1st VST in the second slot in rack one and your 2nd VST in the rack two.
You can cascade this as 'unison' as you need.
To play have the focus on the first rack and send all midi/sequences to this first rack!!

Why this works, the Send not only sends audio but events as well. You can check in the Modular area.

some useful info here. I did not realise the send sent events too. I've been using a Modular area to play two VSTi's at once. The second way sounds easier. I'll try it tonight!
