Recording dialog options after hard stop not showing?

Hello, there used to be a dialog box with cancel etc...it's not showing up anymore? Any ideas on how to get it back please? Thanks!!

Sorry I meant midi notes. I used to have a dialog box after pressing stop that would ask me for options. It's not there anymore..thanks

No that dialog has been removed a long time ago cause the majority of users didn't want it. It was especially about naming the recorded sequece, which you still can do after recording, or cancelling the recording which also is easily doable by selecting Undo Recording.

OK I created a new project and found how to get the dialog back.

It's when I record midi over an existing part...there are options to cancel, punch override, merge etc..

This seems to be related to this single project I am working on (see other post from a few minutes ago) where recording on an existing track will automatically create a new one under.
