Waveform - Rendering tracks and clips to .MID file

Apparently this is not working correctly.

When I try to render a track or clip to a .MID file, the dialog box indicates the path and filename where it will be saved (Rendered Folder), but the file is not created.

Is this a future feature to be implemented or a bug?

Be sure to uncheck "Pass Through Plugins". This seems to delete all of the MIDI data. Don't understand why this option is selected by default???
