Feature request: Multi-level tree in file browser

I can see root in the top and content of the last folder in the root. I would strongly prefer multi level tree similar to bitwig or live browsers

There's several browsers in BitWig and I'm not massively familiar with it. Could you post a link to a screenshot of the type of browser you're after?
I doubt this is something that we could change in the near future but we could keep it in mind for when we next work on the browsers.

What about using root on the top. Now it is just informative - inactive, but when you make it active like root on websites it would avoid using one step up arrow and would be much faster. On the top left below banner you can see the root which is active and you can go back directly into the right folder in no time
