Hi,
I‘ve got a new iMac with Mac OS Sierra on it, I use Reaper an installed de free Melda Plugins and I saw, that there is a bug, where there should be numbers and text, there are only squares. Do the free plugins work on Sierra or is it another bug?
Thanks 4 help.

...both work ok here, since like forever, so I doubt there is a "bug" in either the OS, Melda, or Reaper...what character set are you using?.../s~

Yes, that looks like a character set / font problem to me. The screenshot file name suggest that you are in Germany.
Could it be that the fonts were not installed? On Windows 7 here, the special fonts (used by several of the styles) are in:
C:\ProgramData\MeldaProduction\Fonts
I do not know the equivalent location on Sierra.

Ha, now that's an interesting one
. That's actually quite crazy, because some of the texts did rendere properly. No idea, please contact me via info@meldaproduction.com

I did not find a special Fonts Folder for the MeldaProduction PlugIns. I already ran Reaper on a MacBook and there the PlugIns work well on MacOs 10.8. Even on this older System there was no Melda Fonts Foder installed.
Thanks so far.

I did not change the character set at all. I am using the standard System Fonts MacOs nothing special.
Thanks so far.

That Fonts folder must be a Windows thing, then.piicommerce wrote:Hi Dark Star,DarkStar wrote:Yes, that looks like a character set / font problem to me. The screenshot file name suggest that you are in Germany.

As the plug-ins were OK on OSX 10.8 but not on Sierra, can you check the fonts available on both? Looking at the v10 Styles, they use 'Play' or 'Roboto' fonts (both of which are in the Fonts folder, on Windows).
But it is weird that you do have the windows / panel captions displayed OK. WHich Style are you using? Try 'Minimalistic, too.

Hi,
the error accures in Adobe Audition too.
@ Dark Star: I'll be back soon with the Check, if the Fonts Roboto or Play are on my macs. What do you mean with "WHich Style are you using? Try 'Minimalistic, too." ... can I change the Style of the Plugin?
Thanks so far.

Dark Star!
You are a hero! I changed the Style to minimalistic and it works!! On both Macs there is the Roboto installed but not the Play Font, but changing the Style helped.
Thanks a lot.

Good oh
I think that most of the styles use 'Roboto'. 'Mimimalistic' uses 'Play'. Double-check what you've got (could they be in other folders?
I am sure that if the installer did not install the font then many, many Sierra users would have reported it.
