hi i am wanting to Render one individual track however i don't understand when i am prompted:
"Do you want to replace the tracks that are being rendered?"
i searched the help pages and searched a bit on the forum, if anyone can point me to the direction javascript:emoticon(':help:')

there are a couple of different types of render in tracktion:
track render, which you are currently doing, is used to bounce a track down to audio. As such you can have it either render teh track and have the rendered audio replace your source track, or have it add a new track containing the rendered source.
if you wish however just to export a render wave file for work elsewhere then you should use 'export' which will create a render of your track or edit, without changing the edit in any way.
