I noticed there is no MIDI input module in the MUX or "event input" in Mulab-speak. Which makes sense as the project needs control of these ports to change focus. (great feature)
Can MULAB do any global pre-processing of MIDI?

The only pre-processing performed on events between capture at the MIDI Input and recording depends on Event Recording Grid in the recording set up. If you set this to No Grid, then no pre-processing occurs.
Event processing after recording depends on where the events are routed and, as Jo says, you've got control of that.

Yeah, I made a MUX that does the processing I want. The only way I appear to be able to use this signal always on input, is to launch a second instance of Mulab, and put the MUX there. Then by IAC port into the main Mulab, pre-processed.
