Is it possible to export a project recorded in mulab
so that the wav files may be used in another host (ie Ableton).
or would it be easier for my collaborator to have a version of mulab
and send the session

If you and your collaborator both have MuLab then that will be the best setup as then you both will be able to edit the project in full detail. Rendering to audio files will leave the other one with quite static files. But it depends on what you guys exactly want to do of course.

Project menu -> Export Composition As Audio File
Project menu -> Export Tracks As Audio Files
