I hope anyone can shed some light to why I don't get the result I am expecting when working with sonogram. I use MEqualizer which is an excellent EQ. I often use sonogram. In the attached picture (Left side) I set the sonogram to detect Input/Output. In the right hand side picture I set it to detect Output only. I checked that Input only gives the same result as to Input/Output.
I would expect that all the red color in the sonogram would dissapear after the dip I created at 48Hz. I Can work around this by first setting Input detection, create the EQ point that I want, and finally switch to Output only and check the result, but I thought that is what the Input/Output setting is for?

Thank you!
The sonogram only displays one sonogram - the input or the output, it cannot display both, because one wouldn't know which is which really
(not mentioning a bit scared CPU
)
