Another find from the sidebar.
Description says its a re-issue of Tube Saturator, which used to be payware.
Since i dont have too many plugins in that category i guess i should check this out.
Note: Download is uncomplicated. No registering or anything required.
Just go to the website and download.
Have not installed yet, but description says no copy protection.

Yep, just an installer and it's supposed to run instantly. They advise to have a pretty decent CPU to run the plugin, we will see how bad it is

Thank you and cheers to Wave Arts, who send me the TS2, as an old TS1 purchased client.

Let's say it's not so light on the CPU...
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.5 GHz, 44.1 KHz, 512 samples ASIO buffer
5 instances on a single channel (~17% CPU load per instance)
35 multichannel instances - 84% CPU load (Windows - 79% CPU load)

Yeah I think so.ENV1 wrote:In order to use it?soulone82 wrote:You still have to register it.
Just tested it on my office computer...to me it´s nothing special, so I won´t bother to install it on the studio computer. I have enough saturators already!
YMMV of course...

I think we all know what this means.Thank you for installing Tube Saturator Vintage. It is a free plug-in. We ask that you register the plug-in by providing your email address. The plug-in will be bypassed until registered.
Too bad...

It uses 7.3% of my i3-5005U cpu in Reaper. It does sound very nice though. A very nice giveaway. Registration is a simple matter of filling out a few details - you don't even have to leave the DAW to do it.
