My brother is arriving later and we're hoping to lay down a track.
I'm sure the best way is to record guitar raw and then apply effects after as required? So I don't want the guitarist to just hear a raw leccy sound though? I need to give him a bit of reverb and some amp emulation so he can play without thinking he's sounding like shite?
What's the Tracktion Action on this? When I put effects and shite on audio does that get recorded? Basically I want to hear effects but record pure guitar.
Recording question?

Thats the only way Tracktion can do it at the moment.. if you wanted a wav including the fx you would have to record the guitar & then render (or export) the guitar track.Karbon L. So I don't have anything to worry about while recording then? I can just go back to the track and take any FX off and then add any I want? Only pure guitar has been recorded and all FX are real time?

Exactly. You can treat the effects that are applied in real time as being purely for reference.Karbon L. Forms wrote: Only pure guitar has been recorded and all FX are real time?
You'll want to try and get your latency down pretty low though for real time playing of guitar.
