Hi great job on mux modular and MUlab.
I trialed both versions. MUlab is very cpu intensive for me. I dont know what it is, but I tried it on 2 different computers with pretty good specs i5 4th gen and 8 gb RAM.
MUX modular is very interesting. I like that you can manipulate other VST'S inside a daw with LFO's and such. Workflow is pretty easy.
I have a question regarding MUX modular. Is it possible for example to send midi and audio from within the plugin to ableton?
I like to sequence my drums, synths inside the VST and and at the same process the audio.
The reason why I want to work with MUX Modulair its sequencer is that I cant stand ableton live piano roll

You definitely can use Mux like that in Live, if I understand you correctly.
Mux can send audio/midi in pretty much any way imaginable.
Regarding MuLab, that is odd...
MuLab is about the most efficient DAW I've encountered, next to Reaper.
If you're using an old audio interface, MuLab can sometimes have trouble
with them. If so, you could try running it via ASIO4ALL. I've had to do that
in the past to accommodate MuLab.
*Im talking pretty old here, my mbox 2 will not work with MuLab for instance.
Circa 2005...
Other than that, I dunno...

Hmm, the 2i4 should be fine, possibly you have some other issues
with your system. Hard to tell without more info. Maybe send an MuLab
log to Jo. They should be in your MuLab directory, assuming you're using
the current version.
As for Live, use it like any other vst sequencer, eg. drop it on a midi track
as an effect (the effect has midi out by default). Otherwise you'll have
to add it to an Instrument template. Then point it to whatever you want
to sequence in Live (eg. set the midi source to Mux). Thats it, pretty much.
You'll have to figure out what you want to do, and how you want to do it.
Use a step sequencer module to drive something, or multiple sequencers
with filtered or otherwise processed event output. Drive a vst within
Mux or via Live, whatever...
Mux is a modular playground, you're mostly only limited by your imagination.

Hey Alex, please provide more details & figures on which cpu issues you encounter in MuLab.
