8.1.14
- Ensured update checker isn't shown at startup if there is no active internet connection
- Changed default font on Linux for non-English languages to FreeSans to avoid missing text
- Fixed MIDI step edit when MIDI editor is undocked
- MIDI editor keeps selection when docking / undocking

8.1.13
- Improved MIDI clip support for playing back MPE
- Automatically enabled MPE mode for Seaboard devices
- Added MIDI note-off velocity properties
- Fixed a crash that could happen if deleting a selected MIDI note whilst the note expression editor is being shown and the mouse is over

You've got some sort of link problem there...
Think this should work:

I am seeing these improvements. The MIDI clip notes appear to stay intact when switching views now between docked/ undocked.

However, I have noticed a new issue. If you enter notes in the docked editor, then expand the inline track MIDI editor, the notes disappear from view in the inline track editor.

I discovered this because I also ran into something else when selecting and deleting notes in the MIDI editor. Not all notes were actually deleted. They would be deleted from the docked MIDI editor view, but sometimes a few notes would continue to play. I could then inspect the inline track editor and delete them.

So it seems that there is now something of a disconnect between the notes in the Editor vs. those in the Track view.
Windows 10 and too many plugins

zzz00m: If you could make a screen recording of the issue, that would be very helpful.

Two good news here with 8.1.14:

- "nag" screen which asks to download stuff I already have is gone :tu:

- more important: it loads a LOT faster then before :tu:

Bad news with 8.1.4 beta:

"Available download" screen opens every time on startup, because there are two duplicate Collective entries which never can be set to ignored :?: :(

hi tatanka,
yes, that's realy strange, because i had also installed 8.1.12 before on Win 10 x64 and Ubuntu Linux and i have this annoying update window problem now on both systems also with 8.1.14 :!:

Thanks for reporting guys. Our webmaster needs to take a look at this but it's currently 4th July holidays in the US so he'll do so as soon as he's back.

8.1.14 still blows up when I drop collective or biotek into a track on my Linux. :( Guess that bug report I filed some time back never saw any movement.

Post

with 8.1.14 for Linux i have used collective in a song with 7 tracks and it works now, but it's not possible to use collective and biotek in the same project, because it freezes or crashes Waveform.
Linux version have also a selected plugin not always on top problem, which makes before selected plugins unreachable.
i have already reported and i'll hope that some bugs can be fixed for the next Linux release.

What version of Collective are you using?

What version of Collective are you using?
collective 1.0.8
biotek 1.5.8

(zendesk 10450 has more info, obviously not using this current beta versions). do you need me to create a new zendesk ticket?

Huh? On my 'downloads' and 'archive' page last version of Biotek is still 1.5.5. :?

How's that possible? :?:
