I thought this was one of the bugfixes?
I'm running OSX 10.3.4 and the scroll thing is FAR more evident than it was for me before this build. Now it occurs every second time I play.
Does anyone else find this?

Yep, I have it too, also in OSX. My freeze function is broken too (no sound from the frozen track). As is my authorisation (which means I can't work around the freeze by rendering) as is Reaktor as a plug-in...
Not my favourite update really.

Hmmm... when does the finished version arrive? This one is no better than the last version I tried? Sigh...

No serously though, I question Raw Materials prioritys when there are still quite a few bugs that need to be worked out in OSX and all I hear is shit about Tracktion v2. Dont get me wrong Tracktion has been running alot better since a month ago or so however my latest Tracktion song renders as white noise! I have no idea why, all I know is that I spent a good two days on a song and I like it alot, I mixed the song yesterday tried exporting a 24bit aiff twice and bam nothing but white noise! Tracktion is f**king awesome but it is this type of shit the ticks me off big time, proablems like this dont occur in Logic, SX or Live but do in Tracktion do to the one man show. I wish we would get some words of support every now and than like "I am trying to get Tracktion v1 OSX bug free within the month guys so send me all your bug reports". This is not the case, last time I sent Jules an email regarding a bug he laughed at me saying that it was not the important.
Please lets get Tracktion v1.5 OSX solid as a rock!

Last time I sent him a bug question, he told me to take it to the forum... I think there is a general attitude that small inconsistencies (bugs) are livable and therefore not reason for concern. It's the big picture to him, or them... It's like my lawnmower... It has 5 speeds, but it won't go on the top 2 speeds! It works, but it takes forever to mow the damn lawn... and I keep thinking I should try and get it fixed... cause it would really be a lot faster if I did... but, it is usable the way it is, so...Hmmmm... Do I use the 3 speeds that work, or try and get all 5 speeds, or get a new mower?

Thats the dumbest thing I've read in a long time. It took Steinberg more than a year to make a version of SX that didnt dissapear out of nowhereAleatoric wrote: Tracktion is f**king awesome but it is this type of shit the ticks me off big time, proablems like this dont occur in Logic, SX or Live but do in Tracktion do to the one man show.

Uh, Reason is definately finished! ...and I don't give a shit about VST, just a program that works consistantly enough that I can finish a song!

Hey guys, if you re-read my post, you may be able to work out that I wasn't trying to start a "why Tracktion sucks" thread. I was pointing out that a bug that was specifically noted in the bug FIX list as having been corrected is now worse.
thats all

Would you care to give me some examples of your old inferior music with Reason... and the new super quality professional versions (with those high-end plugins), so I can tell the difference? Or just point me to your albums, and I'll let you know if I think your right... Have you heard any of Aleatoric's music on his site? It was all done in Reason according to him? Sounds pretty fuckin' good to me...

Anyways, you're right, Subtractor sounds just as good as Imposcar, Z3ta+, and MoogModularV, I dont know what I was thinking. And the PEQ-2 sounds just as good as CurveEQ and Firium. And Comp-01 sounds better than Golden Comp, all the Voxengo comps, and the Waves RenComp combined. I epecially like how the threshold in the Comp-01 is not displayed in Db's. Very professional.
I dont know why youre even bothering to use a VST sequencer. I mean you're finishing so many songs in Reason and it "just works" and is so complete and finished. Why bother with anything else.

Frankly, I just use what works on my computers... And I know the people I listen to, use really expensive hardware I can't afford anyway...

Can't say i'm surprised. When Jules releases T2 with it's proprietary fellatio plugin, I suspect you'll whine that it didn't iron your shirt afterwards.Aleatoric wrote: Last time I sent Jules an email regarding a bug he laughed at me saying that it was not the important.
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"
