Hi there,
are the oscillators a lot louder in this update? If I step to the unison values it gets really loud, so I have to reduce the volume a lot. I am not sure if this behavior is new.

Everytime you add an additional voice, it gets louder. Most of the synths behave that way. And SM2.8 too.
Now, the default oscillator SAW wave in SM1 is not the same as in SM2.8. It's more or less perfect saw, hence louder (in SM1). If you want SM1 to have the same saw wave as the default saw in SM2.8, choose Andromeda or SH1 style saw from the waves menu.

Turn on the "free" button, so each wave starts at a random phase. This reduces the overall volume of the osc and prevents all osc to start at the same phase.
