See thread 'Smooth, soothing, perhaps ambient: test-jam112' for a description of the project. There is now a fretless bass track contributed by wjl (Wolfgang) from the Linux Musicians web site. The fretless bass adds a lot of character to the piece so far.
The piece by itself seems to be a response to something, some other part. There is a proposed sketch for that other part which could be the next iteration and would develop the piece further.
BTW, is there a forum section on KVR for collaborative work ?
Comments welcomed, cheers.

It sounds great but I'm not sure if it's a complete song, maybe more like an ending or fade out as it's pretty ambient. I could see something like this used for the last track of an album. Brian Eno sort of comes to mind upon listening to it.
