I have been trying to download the Collective content zip file over the last few days. Every time try it gets so far and then there is some kind of server error. My download connection speed is around 35 mbps and I have no problem with downloading other files. It seems to be an error at the Marketplace server end.

What exactly is the error you get?

You're not downloading it at work, or somewhere similar, behind a hardware firewall are you?

Reason for the question is I get a failure trying to download the Collective content at work, so I looked into it. Our network firewalls drop the connection halfway through on IPS protection, as a TCP Invalid Checksum IPS alert. So if you're behind half-decent firewalls / IPS systems at work, that's likely the same problem you're hitting.

If you're doing this at home, it's very unlikely your home network kit has the same issue, because they won't have the same kind of protection.

Sorry about the late reply - I have been out and about over the last couple of days. This is happening at home - not at work.

In Chrome I just get 'failed - Network Error'. After downloading a maximum of 0.7 Mb. In Microsoft Edge it just says the 'download was interrupted'. Interestingly, I did finally manage to download it using Edge, but this involved hitting 'resume' every time the download was interrupted.

I have no problem downloading other content from elsewhere. I therefore assume it must be Tracktion server side.

Tbh, the local ip stack on your laptop will drop packets with invalid TCP checksums, so if the IPS alert I saw was accurate, you actually would have the same trouble at home. It's an odd error, cos it's not something under the control of the web devs, or even whoever looks after their aws setup. It's more like kit in amazon's cloud is broken, or some network device along the path. Could be a bit of a pain in the arse to fix, I'd imagine... Best it gets flagged to Amazon support as an issue by the TSC team
