Hi
I bought Zebra 2 about 3 weeks ago and it is still amazing me. I am reading the manual and delving into the depth and breadth of what it can do. I am not a patch tweaker, I like to make stuff from scratch.
I paid Zebralette no interest until yesterday. It’s sound quality and feature set make it worth at least $90. I say that because I have bought a lot of synths and know the value of good sound quality. After many years of making music I have honed down my synths to the few that really offer quality :-
Sylenth1, Serum, Zebra 2, Iris 2, spectral, the mangle and curve 2. All give me some true quality in different forms of synthesis (of course there is some overlap too).
So I am just posting this to praise the fact that you offer Zebralette for free. Too many synths offer worse sound quality and charge money for it.
Zrev is also a gorgeous bit of (free) fun. Of all FX I think reverb is the most important for me, I have all the Valhalla plug ins. Despite this , I’d still use zrev as an alternative sound shaper. I don’t mind the haphazard approach to programming it because the tone it gives is very nice (well I’ve got nice things out of it so far).
So praise where praise is due, and thank you.
