IDEA: Acoustic Bass Drum enhancement in MXXX

Here is an MXXX preset that might come in handy / inspire some ideas. it is an effects rack for processing acoustic bass drums - with a compressor, saturator and 5-band EQ.



Download the attachment to your Desktop, unzip it. In MXXX, Ctrl_click the Paste button on the right-hand side, browse to the .msettings file, select it and 'click the tick'. You may want to fine tune some of the EQ frequency ranges etc.

And it shows what can be done with Multiparameters and Easy screen GUIs (which is why I started building it ).

Besides: I did not know that it was possible to Ctrl+Click the paste button. Wow! ... I found a bug though. Can you confirm this: when pressing Ctrl+Click on the paste button and canceling, a Modular block will be added. When you try to click it, my DAW crashes. Anywhere the same on your systems, people!? Should I open a new bug thread, or will you read it, Vojtech?

The Ctrl+click function was new in v11.04 (3?).

Re the bug: how are you 'cancelling' it?

By closing the file selection window (with the x on the bottom right).
