Any ideas? Recently bought Alpha but unlike FreeAlpha presets seem to reset on certain tracks on each playback. Any thoughts welcome. Also posted this on the Linplug forum.
Thanks

no problems here with alpha.
You haven't inadvertantly recorded some program changes onto your clips or tracks have you? Most of the time when people report patches changing on looping or playback start/stop that's why.

Thanks valley
Can't say what happened - and it hasn't before - but physically doing a new program change at the beginning of the clip seems to have sorted things.
cheers

Generally it's better to use the 'delete all program changes from this clip' option (confusingly located in the 'insert program change' menu) across all of your clips. Adding new uneccesary program changes just shores up problems for later.
Also, select your MIDI input device and make sure you haven't set a program there (channel and program both typically should be set to 'none').
