I know I've asked this before but I thought I'd ask again
.
Does anybody use VazPlus2 with Tracktion? Why the hell does Tracktion reset LFO2 on record
?? This just happens with VazPlus2. It happens on every patch no matter what. Even if I save the patch within Tracktion, as soon as I hit record, LFO2 will jump to zero. Any ideas?

I use VAZ+ 2 with Tracktion
. I've used VAZ+ since v1.5, when it was standalone and came on a floppy disc - it's still the only commercial VSTi I own
.
It happens because VAZ+ automatically sets LFO 2's rate to respond to a particluar MIDI CC (I can't remember which one off the top of my head), which Tracktion sends for certain transport events. To fix it, just re-assign LFO 2's rate to respond to a different MIDI CC (it's in the VAZ+ menu somewhere, but I don't have it in front of me at the moment, so I couldn't tell you exactly where).
I can't remember if the MIDI CCs are saved with each patch or if it's a global thing (I've got a feeling it's the latter, although I'm probably wrong).

It is amazing. I love the sound it has. Very strong and old school sounding. Its simple to use but powerful at the same time. I like the patch browser too. Great synth.NiallM wrote:What's amazing is that it still holds its own against most modern VSTis, and I still haven't fully explored it's wavetable capabilities...
