Hi,
using a MacBookPro11,2 with Intel Iris Pro graphics (retina), macOS 10.12.6 10.12.5, Meldaplugin's GUI aseems to be a bit messy, GUI wise. Here are my findings:
After installing recent free plugin pack (11.05), the following errors appear regarding the GUI:
After installation: After disabling hardware acceleration: Then the plugin hung, after closing the gui. Renoise GUI wasn't responsive anymore, because some invisible window seemed to be open still.
Retina resolution did not work either.

Hmmm I didn't see that one for a long time! Classic GPU malfunction, but it's surprising on a new OSX... Anyways go to Settings and disable GPU acceleration (or try compatibility mode). Anyways something's fishy there, your computer isn't that old. I'd normally recommend updating GPU drivers, but I don't think you can even do it on OSX.

Hi,
no, there would be only the system update available. Hm, there also was a really bugyg vst synth (not melda) in the song. Just wanted to let you know that you maybe double-check macbooks using intel graphics.

Well, we actually have 3 different macbooks here and no problems. Also according to the platform report about half of the users are using macs, so if it would be some general problem, we would know by now. Did you try disabling the GPU acceleration?
Edit: I assume you tried restarting the computer right? (obvious, but need to ask)

Hi,
Actually it was 10.12.5! On a friend's mbp. No, I didn't restart
But I have exactly the same model with 10.12.6 and will try soon.

Hi,
sorry for the confusion. It turns out everything seems to work well on the identical hardware, but using 10.12.6 instead 10.12.5.
Cannot reproduce any of the above probs, everything is looking very fine and crisp, too
