MXXX presets are not showing up in Ableton Live, OSX. Not sure what to do. The preset folder contains the active presets.

I reckon that you've got something typed in the Search field. ;)

*facepalm*...thank you. In other news, I tried adding a set of Presets to the folder, but the folder and presets are not showing up in the tree

I cannot tell from the screenshot.

But you need to select an existing folder (create it first if needed) then in the Import dialogue, select Add or Replace as desired.

Go carefully as the contents of the selected folder and any sub-folders could be replaced (deleting all existing content).

Okay so the folders that contain the presets I want added, I moved them to the Active Presets folder in my Library. Upon going in the Import Presets Directory function in MXXX, I see the folders that I added, but when trying to select the check mark it says, "You have to select a file." None of the presets show up. Let me know if this screenshot helps. Or where I can be more descriptive.

OK, presets are not the same as Active Presets. Active Presets do not have an Import feature.

You'll need to work on the Edit screen, Import the presets into a "temp_presets" folder, load each one and Save it as an Active Preset into the desired folder.

Yes! I know this is a bit confusing. But, Active presets are more like plugins, they do something, have a GUI etc. Creating and saving them is a bit complex. Presets however (available via the main Presets button on top) are available for you and are probably what you are looking for.

I still cannot see the individual Active Preset files within the MXXX directory. For reference, here are the directions given in the preset package that I downloaded. It simply states "In order to use the patches inside the MXXX patch browser, place these 4 folders here:
Mac: User (you)/Library/Application Support/MeldaProduction/MeldaProduction MXXX/Active Presets"

What kind of package did you receive? Please contact me via info@meldaproduction.com and send me what you got (or at least the names).

Edit: The folder is correct.
