New (or maybe old) render bug

Situation: attempting to export a clip containing a series of 4-bar notes, running through a Reason Rewire filter, two SIR filters, and one compressor filter. The clip has a latency of ~400ms. The clip starts on bar 16 or so of the edit.

1st attempt: exports fine, except the first note is missing from the .wav.

2nd attempt: try render instead of export. Same result.

3rd attempt: turn off auto advance and export. Works fine, except the whole thing is off by 400ms now. So its a PDC bug.

Detective work: I remember the old render bug dropped a note at the beginning of the edit on tracks requiring PDC. It was solved by starting clips on bar 2 of the edit. But this clip starts on bar 16, so thats not the problem.

4th attempt: I get a bit crazy and attempt to add 1 bar of empty space to the beginning of the clip. Since clips cannot be lengthened at their start (why?), I make a one bar empty clip and merge it at the start of the problem clip. This works, no dropped notes.

wtf? All I can say is PDC and render are still far from perfect.
