MPowerSynth: Unwanted Midi messages change parameters

My keyboard and midi controller: EMU Xboard 61
The X-Board has 16 program-change-patches which I managed to program in REAPER with common actions like STOP, REC, GO-TO-START and so on, works perfect with many VSTi - except with Sylenth1, V-Station and MPowerSynth.
Problem: The VST receives for example a program-change-signal when I press a patch, which I cannot deaktivate. So with some VST I can only use my mouse, not the controller.
Specially for MPowerSynth clicking the controller patches switches between the compare knobs A - H without wanting that.
How can I deactivate those messages?
One way is using Midi-filter, but I had to insert it on every track / each VSTi.

Is there a pay to deactivate this more in general?
Thanks!
(Yes, I read the manuals, but I didn't find it. Yes, mainly a X-board-problem, I know.)

Well, there's no way to disable it, but I assume it shouldn't be such a big deal to add a switch.

Of course not. Its more some sort of concern that lots of these filters might corrupt the system. I mean every lot of midi information has to be checked which part to allow and which one to extract.MeldaProduction wrote: ... I assume it shouldn't be such a big deal to add a switch.

It should be fine, just a switch for the MIDI program changes into the MIDI settings, I'll add it to to-do list.

I'm afraid there's pretty much no room for optimizations now... It just requires that amount of processing to get "that" sound. You can always lower the quality, use less modulation etc.
