Hi,
I work with MB-7 Mixer in AudioSuite-Mode in ProTools. Right now I set up my bunch of AU and VST and save them as presets. But I saw, that I have to do that for each version of MB-7: mono, stereo and dual mono??
Can't I safe time and just make it once and copy and paste it to the folder of each version?
IF the plugIns have a dedicated "mono" and "stereo" version, than I will re-save that preset manually. But right now, when testing with MB-7 Mix mono most of my AU/VST show up in their stereo-version and they look same as if I open MB-7 Mix in stereo or dual mode.
Can I do anything wrong when copy and paste them?
Thanks
J
Copy presets from Mono to Stereo to Dual folder - makes sense? MB-7 Mixer

Copying full presets from one version to another is not possible because they all have different sets of parameters.
However you can save time by copying & pasting the settings and plug-ins for each band (click on the band number at the top left of each band and you will see copy/paste options in the menu). You can also save the band settings to file so that you can load it up later on (in the same or in another band).
You can also copy & paste each plug-in individually, that's not a problem - there could just be a little CPU overhead using the stereo version in the mono instance for some plug-ins.
Hope this helps!
