Hello!
I am a MuLab 7 user. Is there a possibility to change the time signature within the composer, not the entire song?
For example: Verse in 4/4 and the chorus 3/4?
Thank you very much.

Is this a feature we are likely to see at some point in the future? I work in funky time signatures a lot and would love to be able to change the signature for different sections, as well as functionality for different subdivisions like 7/8.mutools wrote:No that's not yet possible.
Thanks,
Jamie

Hey guys,
I am just a newbie to Mu Labs but I think it is not only possible to do this but it should be quite simple.
When you are writing your composition write the first 4 bars in 4/4 (or however many bars you need) then to switch to 3/4 just use bars 5,6,7 for your 3/4 part then switch back to bars 8,9,10,11 for your 4/4 part.
A musical bar is a musical bar and it does not matter weather you use 3 bars (for 3/4) or 4 bars (for 4/4) or 5 bars for (5/4) or 13 bars (for 13/4).
Just keep track of where you are in the composition.
Idunno, should work.
thx

I'm just started to try out Mulab and I like it a lot.
I would be very interested in using different time signatures in the same song. Definitely a feature high on my wishlist.

I'll do the same as dogwatch...Has this been added by now?
I really enjoyed the MuLab demo last time I tried it, but this seems like quite a puzzling oversight. MUX on the other hand I'll definitely pick up at some point later this year, it's amazing.
