Hi folks,

next update is here ;). 11.08 is an important update and comes with several new improvements, features and some fixes. It is recommended to install this update. To do that, get the newest version from MeldaProduction download page and use it.

Additionally MSpectralPan, unique plugin which lets you apply panorama to each frequency individually, has been released for free as a gift for your continued support through all these years.

Back in 2009 NuGenAudio already released Stereoplacer, iZotope has Pan, Voxengo Soniformer, ... ...yeah spectral panning... ...pretty unique
It runs on my machine! Everything else is undefined behavior.

Post

Hmmm, I didn't know that! :o :D
Anyways the nugen thing costs over 129 USD, this one is for free :D. And freely drawable, I think that's unique. And when you count in the modulators, then I think we are quite fine ;).

Yeah, i've created some really interesting spectral width modulation effects with it by using sine or triangle curves and modulating the number of cycles. You'll want to switch off integral curves though, so it modulates smoothly. That's pretty darn unique.

Did install the free bundle but when I try to load a plugin it's like freezing Studio One and nothing happens. I got a notification during installation about something which I needed to block. All my other plugin don't have problems and my system is pretty stable. Any suggestions anyone?

Although it isn’t something I’d use all the time it is a cool plugin thay I’m sure will be a life saver some time in the future.

Finally a replacement for Anarchy Effects Spectral Pan without the bugs and clicky noises at certain speeds, and way more modulator shapes and possibilities 8) Thanks, that complete FX bundle has truly been the gift to myself that has just kept giving! :D

I really like how creative you are. :tu:

... also many other users in this forum are creative as hell - I really like to be here, hehe.

And of course: thanks for the new update + the new plugin, Vojtech!

If you work on a windows system search for a dll file called MeldaProductionKernel. If it is missing the plugins won't load. Antivirus software could interfere because it gets installed into the system root directory.

PS: a melda quote regarding a "unique plugin" brainworx did:

Hypocrisy at its finest.

KenjiDeVries: Please contact me via info@meldaproduction.com and tell me as much as you can. I'd first try restarting your computer and reinstalling the plugins though.

Soundplex: I get it, it may not be as unique as I actually thought :D. But, when you take the mods into account, the visualisation etc., I actually think it IS pretty unique. Or at least name a plugin that can do that! That BX thing you are talking about, if I remember correctly it was a high-shelf! :D And you know which plugin can do that? Any EQ! :D And for the record, BX likes to use "revolutionary", which is the thing that pisses me off. And the master of them all is bx_stereo, which is, wait for it, a delay - it uses the decades old trick, which nobody uses, because it sucks big time, and guess what, it is "revolutionary" :D. So me using the word unique on something that mostly doesn't exist, but partly does, I think it should be fine. And especially if it is free! :D

Hehe since the word obviously pisses some of you off so much, I changed it to powerful, nobody can vote against that! :P :D Though I still believe it is unique. The other things you posted do some stuff, that can probably do something like MSpectralPan, but it's rather hard to say and even if so, it would be much harder to do and there are wayyyy too many things MSpectralPan can do which none of them can.

I think this is not necessary anymore. This

was a very good hint :D I once configured my av in a way plugins and hosts can't call home anymore and they got sandboxed too, which means they only have access to user specific directories and so on. Works wonderful with all plugin except for MeldaProduction  The notification I clicked away during the installation was indeed about modifying the system root (I tested it by starting the installer again). That's unfortunate. But now another 6 free bundle tests to go :hyper:

*cough* spectral pan is, wait for it, just a fft - a decades old process - with volume applied *cough* :clown:
