now that is one fine damn song!!! very suprised indeed. excellent vocals. the little bongo type roll sound on the percussion was very cool. the bass sound on the chorus was really neat as well. my only gripe - the damn clapping near the end :x

man, post some more :D :D

written while listening to the song.

not my cup of tea but nicely excuted! the intro reminds me a lot of old New Order :). the vocals are good, really nicely recorded! I don't like the noisy sound in the beginning however I do like what you did with the vocals & the noise at ±3:15

listening to the song for the 2nd time in a row and i think you've overused the grainy/noise sound but otherwise it's quite good!

though i can relate to the lyrics the song on a whole doesn't appeal to me that much but i do tip my hat to you (if had one that is) for what you did cause it sounds pretty good to my ears (mix & production).

scratch what i said earlier about the song not appealing to me... after listening to it 2 more times it grew on me and now i think it's cool. :)

still think the noise is over-used though and the suggestion of a three people audience is sort of funny. :)

anyway, keep the good work for i'll be clapping for you too :)

I love it! I love the vocals, they fit the style of the song perfectly. The boom-chick sound is great and the production is really good. I love the high bass sound on the chorus and the vocal work at just past 3 minutes is a cool touch for sure!

The claps are well placed out wide like that. Just a great tune. At the beginning I like the reverse reverb intro, very nice. The "telephone" effect at the end would sound pretty cool as delays of the melody in different parts of the tune methinks.

Awesome stuff! Agreed...don't wait so long in between choons!

I love this, too! very catchy tune, infectious guitars and bass. nice voice, too

Ahh, very nice, compact too, not a lot of wastage in the old songwriting (though personally, I would probably try to get to the chorus a bit sooner  ). When the bass plays the louder thing in the chorus, the guitar tends to get lost a bit, so you should probably overdub another one, or automate the level (actually, guitar level could do with coming up a bit overall).

I think you missed a little trick in the middle 8 at 3m 12s there by sticking on the F# and not going up to G# for the last of of the four - and in fact holding that for another bar - hooks my man, maketh the pop song!

Love the clapping. :D

Nice song, executed fine as well!
For my taste you could sing a bit more, hm, what can I say... *gritty* at times. But then, a) who am I to say such things, not singing at all and b) it might only be a matter of taste anyways.
Love the clapping at the end too!

And an audience growing more and more...

This sounds pretty darn okay. Just don't wait that long with the second one ;) Like Donks said; try entering a bit more of a hook and you got it nailed.

Welcome to the Cafe Dekky; I hope more tracks from you will see the light in here ....

Now that made a fine start to the day here. Very nice indeed :D Like drez, I loved the vocals.
RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

I have to admit that it is not me singing (i wish i could), it is my friend david. the more gritty'n'grimy stuff can be found in the songs of our "other" band.
sounds like this:

after all these positive reactions i really feel tempted to post all the songs i have and to add clapping all over the place, but that might be a little to much
