Skin Question

A question if I may....What is the proper procedure to make a copy of the SM1 Prototype skin in order to do some edits and create a personalized version ?

I see there is a rather long ID number in the .xml file so I assume in order to make a copy that is read in the list by SM1 we must have a new ID number ?

I can change the Interface Definition Name but would a new ID number need to be issued by KV331 ?

My GUI skills are limited to colorizing and a few simple edits but if I manage to come up with something worth sharing I will certainly do so here......thanks in advance

EDIT: I just copied the Prototype skin and renamed the Interface Definition Name and it shows up in the list of skins in SM1. Will the ID number being the same cause a conflict down the line ?

We're not using the ID number. Copying the folder and then renaming the "name" property in the XML is sufficient.
