Hi guys
I just purchased the re-pro v1.1, browsed and made some of the preset favorite. My question is how can I transfer those favorite meta data to another laptop that has installed re-pro too?
Basically I have my pc tower mainly used for exploring re-pro and make sound design. I want to be able to transfer those presets and favorite data to another macbook which is mainly used for live performance. Is it even possible?? Thanks.

Favourites and junk status of presets is saved in the preset database file.
You can copy these database files to your other computer and put them in the same place there.
On Mac, the databases for Repro-1 and Repro-5 are located in the following location:
/Users/whoeveryouaretoday/Library/Application Support/u-he/Repro-1/PresetDatabase
On Windows, they are in a folder inside your Repro-1.data folder:
Repro-1.data\PresetDatabase
If you also copy over your presets from one computer to another, you have to make sure to keep the same preset-folder structure on both computers, otherwise the database cannot make the connection between the presets and the favourite status on the second computer.

By patch name and by folder location, afaik.Chris-S wrote:Is the connection made by the patch name?
That's why it's important to keep the folder structure the same on both computers if you want to transfer the favourites from one to the other.

Alternatively you can drag your Favourites X folder onto any other (real) folder. This will create a new folder with copies of all those presets inside.

I want to transfer my Repro-1 Favourites to Repro-5 (thanks for the xtra notes BTW
!!). However, Repro-5 doesn't have a folder (yet??) in my User Library (see pic).
. Is this even possible? Should I just add the folder manually? Thanks!! Best wishes, RR

This FAQ article explains how you can export and import your favourites:

But you cannot transfer favourites from one product to another, like from Repro-1 to Repro-5, this won't work.
