Trying to Sidechain different frequency band in mDyanmicEQ

I have mDynamicEQ and really enjoy it. I use the sidechain feature in Cubase a lot. I'm trying to have one frequency range of a side chain input, affect a different frequency range for attenuating EQ dynamically. I found filters under advanced sidechain section but if I set top and bottom limits, for say 20hz - 200hz, it shows no signal and the audition feature is silent. Is this even possible to do? Melda vst's are super flexible so I thought that would be easy to pull off. I know it can be done with FabFilter Pro-MB so I was hoping I could do it with mDynamicEQ.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you!

Ok, so:
- Band settings / Dynamics / Mode change from Filtered compensated (which means that it is triggered by the frequency range it affects, which is usually logical) to Entire spectrum (which disables the filtering).
- Click Advanced and use the Band pass panel.

Thanks Vojtech. I didn't even know that was button/menu option. It works perfectly as I had hoped. Unfortunately, when I was trying it I ended up with a BSOD (Video Scheduler internal error). Not sure if related. I did have a VM open at same time as cubase which I usually dont do.
Your stuff is super flexible, makes sense it can do this off function I requested. Love it.

I believe the video something error cannot be related, or at least I have no idea how it would :)

I don't think it's related. I've been setting a few video kernel crashes recently ("Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.") - I blame Firefox/YouTube/NoScript/Flash(?).
